This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all payments made for our educational programs (academic coaching, art & craft classes), software products, and digital services via online payment gateways or direct office billing.
1. Cancellation & Refund Guidelines
A. Educational Programs (Coaching & Art Classes)
- 72-Hour Registration Fee Refund Window: If a student or parent decides not to continue with a course, a full refund of the course registration fee will be granted **ONLY IF** a written application or email is submitted to
contact@obviouscorner.inwithin 72 hours of registration. After 72 hours from the registration date, registration fees become 100% non-refundable. - Pre-Batch Commencement Cancellation: Cancellation requests received prior to official batch commencement are eligible for a 100% full refund of registration fees paid. (This applies strictly to registration fees).
- Monthly Tuition & Study Materials (Non-Refundable): Monthly-based educational/tuition fees, study materials, and notes fees are strictly 100% non-refundable once paid for an ongoing or upcoming academic month.
B. Digital Solutions & Software Services
- 72-Hour Project Cancellation Window: Clients requesting cancellation of a web development or software project must submit a written request within 72 hours of project booking/registration.
- Work Progression Refunds: After 72 hours, any eligible refund will be calculated strictly based on work completed. Once a project or software setup has been fully completed and delivered, no refund will be processed.
- Mandatory Agreement Term Fulfillment: If a customer signs or agrees to a service contract, the customer **must fulfill and complete the agreed service period** before being eligible to terminate or reject the service.
- Third-Party Expenses: Domain registrations and third-party web hosting purchases made on behalf of clients are non-cancellable and non-refundable once registered with the domain registry.
2. Refund Eligibility & Criteria
A refund will be granted under the following specific circumstances:
- Duplicate payment made due to a technical network glitch during payment gateway processing.
- Course registration fee refund requested in writing within 72 hours of registration.
- Cancellation of an educational batch by Obvious Corner due to administrative reasons.
3. Refund Processing Timeline & Payment Mode
Payment Gateway Refund Window: All approved registration fee refunds or eligible duplicate payment credits will be processed and credited back to the customer's original payment method (Credit Card, Debit Card, NetBanking, or UPI) within 5 to 7 business days from the date of refund approval.
In the event of payment gateway delays beyond 7 business days, customers are advised to contact their issuing bank using the Transaction Reference ID provided by us.
4. Non-Refundable Charges Summary
The following charges are strictly non-refundable:
- Monthly Educational / Tuition Fees: Monthly tuition fees, study materials, and printed notes fees once paid for an academic month.
- Late Registration Cancellations: Course registration fees where the cancellation request is submitted after 72 hours from registration.
- Third-Party & Vendor Costs: Domain name purchases, SSL certificates, third-party software licenses, and physical flex printing charges.
